Angular GPA Calculator
My first real project in Angular - An easy GPA Calculator
This was my first real project in Angular. The intent of the project was to teach us the different components needed to write an Angular app along with the order they needed to be in to make the app functional. For some, these concepts were very confusing. For me, I felt they seemed logical… Don’t get me wrong, I am definitely not a genius, but I thought that using different components in a specific format was very logical… You can find this simple GPA Calculator on my GitHub Repository located here:

Bob's Computer Repair Shop
One of several versions of BCRS that we built during this class – Lovingly referred to as BCRS
For this project we were assigned to a group of five and given a list of Services, user stories and wireframes along with the instructions to create a technical design document, object relational diagram and final wireframe using Material Design, a custom theme and our own personal touches to include images, navigation etc… A NoSQL Database had to be created to maintain customer accounts and when completed there had to be a final presentation. You can see the final code for the application as well as several other projects on my GitHub Repository located here:

Modern design
From my Fundamentals of Web Design class – The project was to design a timeline of the Modern Design era
This is a project that focused on the design aspects a creating a site. Although a relatively simple HTML site, I had to put a great deal of research into the project. Finding images for the timeline that were of the quality needed to publish on the web was at best difficult. Most required a great deal of time in Adobe Photoshop. We were also tasked with using Adobe Illustrator for some part of the site, I used it to make the background. Additionally, writing the site content took a good amount of time to research. If you would like to see the entire page you can find it here:

Real Friend
Grid Project - A Photo Grid about my friend Cristene
Again, from my Fundamentals of Web Design class. This time we were ask to make a site about anyone or anything. At the time we were studying grids. So, I chose to make a photo grid. I was pretty sure that at some point I had already made one of my cats, so I chose my best friend. Cristene – she means the world to me. I recall appreciating actually having some time to experiment with some different CSS effects as well as Adobe Photoshop. You can find the site here: Real Friend

Redsmith Cafe
Typography – A Menu for Mobile and Print
For this project we were given the content and told to include all content exactly as given – no adding to or removing from it. Fonts and colors were left up to us. All artwork had to be created by us. It had to be designed in InDesign, we had to use a grid, it had to be exactly two printed pages designed to be printed by a professional Print Shop along with a Mobile design using Adobe XD. A very detailed class. I was actually pleased with the outcome and I learned a lot about the principals of Typograghy. You can see the final print menu here: “ “ and you can see the entire Adobe XD design here: Redsmith Cafe - Mobile It should be a fully clickable design in your browser.

Luscious Grape
Last Semester of Design – We had to design an Online Magazine
We were tasked with designing an Online Magazine for both tablet and mobile. The topic was our choice and the backstory could be whatever we wanted. I enjoyed this project. The images, the storyline, the design itself – I enjoyed all of it. I just sort of let my imagination go wild. I used Adobe Photoshop when I needed to work with the images and Adobe XD to design the prototype. You can find a clickable mobile design here: Luscious Grape - Mobile And a clickable tablet design here: Luscious Grape - Tablet

Not Cool
Final Project - Not Cool - Design an Online Magazine for Mobile, Tablet and Desktop
This was my Final Project. We had to design an Online Magazine for mobile, tablet, and desktop. She had a list of topics we could choose from. All on the list were a handful. I chose Global Warming. I got lucky and found some incredible images free! As far as research, I did not have to go very far to find information about Global Warming. The question became more of a how much do I include. Not a topic you can find everything on any part of it. I was really proud of coming up with the name Not Cool. It worked out quite well I think. You can find the entire project design here: Not Cool - Mobile Not Cool - Tablet Not Cool - Desktop

Pirate's Paws
Personal Project – So far this is an all AI site for a friend’s cat T&R Initiative
How this came about was in a very round about way. I will just say that it started with my entire back gutter falling off my house… Eventually came a broken phone and a lost photograph. Then came the recreation of that photograph’s subject… A cat – Pirate. I do not know the full story of pirate. I think it is likely I don’t want to. I bult each of the components individually using Adobe Photoshop’s Image Generation feature along with many many credits. But it eventually got to where I wanted it. Now I wait for real images as well as content in order to actually build the site. You can see the mostly clickable design here: Pirate's Paws
